Tex Perkins and fellow Cruel Sea guitarist James Cruickshank hit the road for acoustic adventure like no other in December 07! Tex Perkins hangs up his Beasts of Bourbon hat for 2007 and steps into a more mellow mode as he is joined by old friend and fellow Cruel Sea band mate James Cruickshank playing a few select, quieter shows around the country in December. Tex Perkins has been a very busy man. Not one to do things by halves, Tex is currently working on a new solo album, for release in early 2008 and in all the spare time he has between this, touring with Beasts of Bourbon, TNT and Tex, Don & Charlie, Tex will be hitting the road to take a merry dance through his extensive back catalogue, ensuring an entertaining and memorable show…to say the least. Tex will be accompanied by James Cruickshank, former Cruel Sea cavalier, onetime Beast of Bourbon, occasional Dark Horse, seasonal Blackeyed Susan, and honorary member of the Mick Harvey and Nick Barker clans. James made a celebrated reappearance onto the music scene with his latest creation Hello Human released in July this year to glowing national reviews.
